Sunday news digest: Revenge of the digest?!

Hey Sunday fans! It's been a while since we've had a Sunday digest but there was so much announced in issue #42/43 that it felt wrong to try to sum it up in a tweet or two. So here we are with a brief rundown of the announcements. Of course there will be a thread as well but we wanted to make sure we gave these the spotlight they deserved! 

Starting with issue 44: Anji Matono (100 Ghost Stories That Will Lead to My Own Death) will start a new series Fujiwara-kun Koukou debut! (Fujiwara's High School Debut). The tagline says it's a "School comedy with an expanding cast of strange and amusing friends.

Issue 45(Out October 7th): Wakabi Asayama (Last Karte) will start a new series entitled Cosmograph. This series will be about a map maker and a slave boy setting out on a journey to map out an unknown world. 

Issue 47 (Out October 21st) will feature a oneshot by Tomohito Oda (Komi Can't communicate) entitled Dai 107 majuusensen no kishidan futoshi odyssey. (The 107th unit of the Magical Beast warfront: Futoshi Odyssey) which will be about a beautiful leader of a order of knights fighting alone.

Issue 49 (Out November 4th) Mitsuharu Yanamoto (Ryuu to Ichigo) Is starting a still unnamed rom-com series. A girl named Alice believes that the person she's fated to be with is a boy named Hayato, but a meeting between the two and a fortune teller may reveal otherwise...

A Rumiko Takahashi fantasy manga prize has been announced. This prize is accepting submissions until January 11th. The primary rule is that the manga submissions must have a fantasy element. Takahashi-sensei will be the lead judge and the grand prize will gain a one million yen payout and their work will be featured in either Weekly Shonen Sunday itself or Webry. 

Professional mangaka and amateurs are welcome.

Yuki Tsukikoshi and Shiishihi's "Aga kimi Chiruramu" will end in two chapters. If there are no breaks this should be in issue 45.
